When I sat down, thinking about the content of my next blog post, I had an Idea! Why don’t I write about my favorite North Indian restaurant in Chennai? So here I am, tempting you with descriptions of dishes from BOMBAY BRASSERIE, Adyar.

Bombay Brasserie is located in the energetic Gandhi Nagar,Adyar. If not for Valet parking services,we would have an arduous time finding a decent parking space. This place is a beautiful Villa which has been converted into an eatery. I am actually hard pressed to find words that describe the ambiance of this place. Vintage pieces, white walls, black & white flooring, soothing color pallet has been woven together beautifully to make BB a world of it’s own.

Coming to the BEST PART, The food. The reason why this restaurant is celebrated by many is mainly because of the delicious food. Here are my favorites and must orders from Bombay Brasserie, Adyar :

SOUPS:

Nariyal aur Subs Shorba ( Rs. 120/-)

Fresh and spicy coconut water soup with crunchy vegetables. This has been a safe order and it has never failed my expectations.

2.Crackling Tamatar soup (Rs. 120/-)

DRINKS :

Masala Chaas / Punjabi Namkeen Lassi ( Rs. 175/-)
ONE WORD – JHAKAAAAAS
Khala Khatta – The Desi Ice candy ( Rs. 175/-)
Yes, it’s a bit expensive but this is definitely a hygienic choice

3. mocktail (Rs. 175/-):

No meal is completed without mock tails. All flavors are unique and delicious but watermelon mock tail is the best.

SIGNATURE DISHES :

Dum Biryani ( veg : Rs 375/- , chicken : Rs. 475/-)

The rich aroma and taste takes you to a different level. A MUST ORDER.

2. Gun powder Potatoes ( Rs. 275/-)

If you are a vegetarian, this dish should be in your order by default. Spicy masala podi blended really well with potatoes.

3. Paneer Sirka Pyaz ( Rs. 350/-):

The paneer literally MELTS in your mouth. Best when eaten with Romali roti

DESSERT COMA!

I kid you not, I gobble up these mouth watery desserts in no time. These are my favourite desserts in BB. YOU.MUST.TRY.IT.

1. Amritsari Kulfa (Rs. 210/-)

Rich kulfi on a bed of badam phirni served with falooda and rose syrup. BEST DESSERT EVER.

2. Ras- E-Aam ( Rs. 190/-)

Juicy Rasgullahs coated with alphonso amras on a bed of rabdi.

PRICE:
It differs from person to person but it’s approximately Rs.1600 for two.

CONCLUSION :
JUST GO ALREADY!!!
