Last minute Diwali shopping ft Forum mall

When Diwali is just a few hours away, the mayhem starts. Have you bought enough sweets? Enough gifts? How about clothes?! I feel you. This mini post is in collaboration with Forum Vijaya mall which is located in the busy streets of Vadapalani to tell you how my last minute shopping went.

The Diwali celebrations in Forum mall were on full swing. Lights and discounts everywhere. Not complaining at all…Then forum mall decided to challenge us bloggers. We were given a store and a budget each and asked to style a look within that. My Budget was 2000 rupees and the store was MAX! BRING. IT.ON.

Max is a store that is suitable for all crowds, especially for someone with a budget. I attacked the women’s section. I saw a lot of reds, jackets and skirts and fell in love.

They didn’t have my size else my wardrobe will be full of them. This, with a maxi skirt is just perfect.

Name a colour and you have it.
Since, I had already bought my ‘diwali’ outfit, I decided to put together a very simple look which can be a good Patasu (crackers) friendly outfit or an after diwali pooja outfit.

I am seeing a lot of Tie and Dye nowadays and thus took a short blue kurta ( 599), paired it with a hot pink patiala ( 499) and a silvery- gold wedges ( 799) and I was done.

Oxidised silvery jewellery would be perfect for this hence wore some Heavy Jhumkas and some bangles.

The outfit is simple yet fun and festive. Oh and not to forget, well within the budget.

Kurta, Patiala, wedges – MAX India
Accessories – Bubbleogum
Watch – Fossil
After a tiresome yet fun shopping experience, we headed straight to the foodcourt. Quiznos flashed right in our eyes because PIZZAAA that’s why. I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that they had thin crust pizzas. We were three of us who had a delicious, wholesome meal which included a veg pizza, potato wedges, cheesy gooey garlic bread and also a chicken sub. We ended up spending below 1000₹. Total value for money, ain’t it?

So I recommend MAX in Forum mall as the best option for last minute diwali shopping because wide varieties, stylish clothing and mainly…pocket friendly!!
