Rainbow is the new black

Independent designers are very hard to find. An excellent one, next to impossible. But I have defied the odds and found a label which is happy, quirky and very very fashionable. Colors and Mirrors, though not having any specific reason behind it’s name has it’s own identity when it comes to the designs. Mix of prints, patterns and colours is what Charu, the founder excels in.

They have come up with a new collection which is going to be retailed in a store called Tamara, Chennai from 5th of December. I scanned through their collection and this particular tunic caught my eye. There are so many ways in which you can style this statement tunic and here is what I am talking about:

I wanted to keep this look very casual yet funky. Paired this Gorgeous tunic from @colorsandmirrors with a slightly ripped denim from Zara. I went heavy on jewellery since I wanted it to give a very ethic boho feel. finished the outfit with some tan brown fringe bag and sandles.

Tunic – @colorsandmirrors
Denim- Zara
Jhumkas- Bubbleogum
Sandals – Steve Madden
Fringe bag – Aldo

*breathes*. Well this is just one way…

I dragged the bubbly Charu along with me, who wore another piece from their rainbow tunic collection. She had a more ethnic touch to her outfit. See for yourself.

With a dhoti pant, some Kholapuris and a statement Afghani earpiece, she has that casual yet I am-ready-for-sunday-brunch vibe.

Same tunic, two very DISTINCT looks

You can wear this top with some shorts, oversized bag and oxidised jewellery or…… or rock a patiala and dupatta, some big Bindhi and top it off with a french braided hair. The options are never ending, isn’t?

You can get this at their facebook store ( https://www.facebook.com/colorsandmirrors/?fref=ts) and instagram store ( https://www.instagram.com/colorsandmirrors/) or drop by Tamara store in T nagar, Chennai. ( https://www.instagram.com/tamarachennai/).

I couldn’t stop with this one. I fell in love with another outfit from their latest collection which I cannot wait to share. Stay tuned for my next post.

Until then
Happy Shopping
