Pongal is the hashtag topic for this new year. Lots of speculations, lots of oppositions…argh. BUT one thing that can never be banned is the desire to DRESS UP for all the three days, right? You think Pongal, you think of a silk Saree or a Dhavani. How about something different this year?
I collaborated with the talented and creative mother of Colors and Mirrors for this post. For someone like me who is afraid to experiment, she encouraged me to do otherwise. I decided to go all out and flaunted an earthy toned WRAPSAREE from her latest collection. Neither a saree, nor a skirt…or maybe both, it’s a perfect way to stand out fashionably from the crowd. See for yourself..

What I loved is that the front and back of the outfit are similar but not same. This gave a new dimension to the outfit.
When it came to accessories, I stuck to Oxidised silver jewellery. Other than it being the new thing, it complements the outfit extremely well. A Statement Choker, hand cuff and a big finger ring gives a rustic feel to the outfit.
There are just no limits on wearing this outfit, thanks to the Versatile Pallu.
TIE IT UP
TIE IT DOWN
OR JUST LET IT LOOSE
If you are willing to experiment this pongal, this is THE perfect choice. You can get this Colors and Mirrors outfit from a retail store called Tamara located in T nagar.
