I have worked with a lot of brands but Max is the only brand which everyone in my family recognized and congratulated me for. So much for being a household name. Yes, it’s true. My 3 year old niece wears MAX, my 15 year old cousin wears MAX, my 23 year old friend wears Max and my 46 year old mother wears MAX. Just because of this, they constantly have a hill high expectation to do something different always. This Winter, they came up with their brand new collection under the campaign,’Max your look’ which I was happy to be a part of.
I created a few looks from their latest collection and also styled handpicked customers who visited Express avenue on a fine weekend. Since, pictures speak louder than words, I am going to embrace that and stop ranting now.
Look 1 -The Party edit
Who says you can’t wear yellow this winter? Yellow is such a beautiful colour and it’s sad to see so many people shy away from it. For the colder days, I selected a mustard yellow instead of a sunnier, brighter lemon yellow. With this mustard blouse, I wore this really flattering blackish grey metallic skirt. My black shoes are hidden but I wore them i swear. Completed this ‘party look’ with a silver clutch.
Look 2 – SLOUNGE
I mean, what’s holiday without catching up with friends in some really loose hoodies and nice pants. The only thing that’s missing from this picture is NETFLIX and some popcorn. I wore a grey graphic hoodie with a fitted military pant and some nude sneakers all from #MAX! .
Look 3 – The Velvet teddy
The Velvet trend is catching up and is going to rule the first half of 2018 especially after seeing it dominate all the fashion shows this season. I don’t know how I’ll feel dressing up in VELVET but I am a hypocrite and sooner or later, I’ll be in a velvet saree or maxi dancing around in a garden. However, the velvet in this outfit is minimal and that’s what I like the most. A crushed gold crop top worn over a cream tshirt and tucked into a wine Palazzo is simple yet festive. Golden accessories just do it for me.
Apart from that, Max also handpicked five customers and I along with Max gave them a makeover. They looked fab and carried their goodies back home with a huge smile. See for yourself.
