Everything is influenced by our mother nature. Yes, everything! Even clothes! I wanted to incorporate that aspect in my next series which is in collaboration with one of Asia’s largest multi designer store called Zingbi. I have been a loyal customer and also associate with them regularly for my photoshoots. They have always been supportive of all the bizarre ideas I give them and I am so happy to introduce a brand new series – Elements of nature.
Zingbi introduces a new set of designers & concept every month. For the month of June, it was all about organic clothing and sustainable fashion. It so matched my aesthetic and I went all out. I put together 5 looks which ( according to me) represented 5 random elements of nature and let’s decode them together
This cotton dress and oversized maroon robe ( Sneha said that I looked like a Gryffindor student. I accept it with pride) screams earth! Not just the earthy colour tones but the material is completely organic & is from their sustainable fashion range. Sustainability is so crucial at this age of Fast fashion & ensures we create a system to protect our mother earth with minimal waste/damage from the clothes we are wearing! I wanted flowers on my hair, so we grabbed some baby’s breath (Gypsophila) and that transformed the whole look. Finished with tan heels.
Element – Water
My unconditional love for the colour blue is pretty evident. The fluidity, colour and pattern of this gorgeous Ikat dress from Zingbi, Gopalapuram reminds me of the majestic ocean waves and that’s why this fits into the water element. Paired this busy dress with an ink blue tassel earrings and grey heels.
Element – Fire
Why does Fire have to be serious always? Why can’t a happy girl twirling around in a dress be associated with the word fire? Sit back, smile, twirl, jump, laugh, hustle and never lose the fire in you. This saline dress from Zingbi’s June collection proves just that!
Element – Rock
This charcoal coloured maxi from the store is damn flattering! I’ve seen pics from Zingbi’s customer diaries and this dress flatters almost every shape. Looks like it is sculpted for each body and that’s why I call it the element -rock.
Breeze through the summer with my absolute favorite tie & dye dress from @zingbifashion. It’s easy, breezy and definitely flirty 😉 I paired this dress with white sneakers to make the overall look very casual. You can wear it to a resort, brunch date…actually what the heck! Wear it wherever you like. Oh and Grab it before it gets completely sold out ( I heard this collection is selling like hot cakes.
So yes! These were the five looks which I created with Zingbi. Which one was your favorite? Comment below.
See you soon
